The Mindful Psychotherapist

Therapy for sensitive women who are experiencing anxiety and overwhelm
Work with me

Are you a sensitive woman who feels deeply and intuitively? Do you often find yourself absorbing the emotions and stresses of others, leaving you drained, anxious, or overwhelmed? Maybe you struggle to set boundaries, saying “yes” when you mean “no,” or feel burdened by the expectations placed on you.

You may have developed coping mechanisms like overthinking, people-pleasing, or turning to alcohol to manage social anxiety or emotional discomfort. But beneath it all, there’s a longing – to feel truly seen, heard, and understood.

I’m Dr. Hayley Trower,

a holistic psychotherapist specialising in helping sensitive women like you reclaim their voices, restore balance, and embrace their sensitivity as a strength. I offer a creative and synergistic approach, combining talking therapy with mind-body techniques like music and sound, breathwork, mindfulness, and deep relaxation. Together, we can uncover the subconscious patterns holding you back, so you can break free from overwhelm and live with confidence, clarity, and ease.

Change is always possible, and I’m here to be your (gentle) cheerleader.

Hayley has made me look at my anxiety and confidence issues and address the reasons why I was feeling the way I was. During this process I have learnt so much about myself. Hayley has given me the confidence to start believing in myself again and manage/process my anxiety levels.

Dr. Hayley is absolutely amazing! She is kind, caring, compassionate, nonjudgmental, down to earth and relatable. She is a skilled clinician and researcher. She is also very conscientious, always gets back to me right away and always willing to lend her expertise and support. She has truly saved my life and given me the kind of healthy, happy life I’ve always dreamed of for myself!”

Professor

After a few months working together I have found the sessions incredibly useful, learning things about myself, behaviour and thought patterns which I had never realised before. Instead of just dealing with the symptoms I feel we are trying to get to the root of the problem & make changes at a deeper level.
